Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to cardiac patients including those with acute coronary syndrome, chest pain, stable STEMI, NSTEMI, new onset and chronic A-fib, and heart failure. Care for pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patients with and without intervention, as well as pre- and post-EP lab patients for pacemaker and/or ICD placement.

Care for pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patients with and without intervention, as well as pre- and post-EP lab patients for pacemaker and/or ICD placement
Monitor and manage patients using TR bands, central lines, PICC lines, and CVP monitoring
Utilize rapid response teams as clinically indicated
Participate in weekend shift commitments, with staff expected to sign up for 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Float to other system campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Cardiac telemetry and PCU experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Tikosyn loading and arrhythmia management
Background in overflow progressive care level patient populations
