Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No Call | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level nursing care in a high-acuity PCU setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients
- Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
- Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
- Float to other campuses within the health system as needed
- Complete unit-based orientation modules and maintain compliance with all facility requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome
- Experience working in a PCU setting with 1:5 patient ratios
- Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- Valid driver's license required; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- No open background check cases permitted; third-party education verification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with peripheral line care and PICC line management
- Familiarity with titrating drips in a step-down or intermediate care environment
