Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend & Holiday Rotation | No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level nursing care in a high-acuity PCU environment with a 1:5 patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients
- Perform management and interpretation of dysrhythmias and cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Manage and maintain peripheral lines and PICC lines
- Titrate IV drips as ordered and in accordance with unit protocols
- Float to other campus locations as needed
- Complete unit-based orientation modules as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Cardiac telemetry experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- No open background check cases permitted
- Current driver's license required to verify address
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity PCU or stepdown unit
- Familiarity with titrating vasoactive or other critical drips
- Experience floating across multiple units or campuses
