    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Location

    Greensboro, NC | Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekend and holiday rotation required | No call

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an intermediate/progressive care setting at a PCU patient ratio of 1:5
    • Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
    • Manage peripheral IV lines and PICC line care and management
    • Titrate vasoactive and other IV drips as ordered
    • Float to other system campuses as needed based on unit and staffing requirements
    • Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable; average 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
    • ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
    • Cardiac telemetry experience required
    • Experience working at PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    • Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
    • Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
    • No open background check cases permitted
    • Current driver's license required to verify address
    • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted
    • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience titrating multiple drips simultaneously in a high-acuity progressive care environment
    • Familiarity with multi-campus health system workflows and floating expectations
    • Strong foundational skills in telemetry interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring
