Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting during night shift hours
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as part of standard scheduling expectations
- May be required to float to support other units based on facility need
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona — verified within the last 30 days; no encumbrances on license
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months required
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Must reside outside of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a large acute care or Level I Trauma Center environment
- Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments is advantageous
