Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a General Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with facility protocols
- Maintain active ACLS and BLS certifications from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI) throughout the assignment
- Complete all required learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Must not be a current Arizona resident — Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments at Arizona facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Flexibility with facility locations, shifts, and departments is advantageous
- Experience in acute care hospital environments with high patient acuity
