Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care, including those with oncology-related diagnoses
- Administer chemotherapy and provide oncology-focused nursing care in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility standards prior to and throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Chemotherapy certification and/or oncology training and experience
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency outside of Arizona
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Flexibility with shifts, departments, and facility locations
