Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed PCU unit with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing diagnoses including pneumonia, ARDS, COVID-19, hypertensive urgency, angina, cardiac cath patients, and ETOH withdrawal
• Titrate drips including Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, Lasix, and Dobutamine
• Manage and monitor patients on respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Review and approve telemetry strips in collaboration with remote monitor technicians
• Float within the regional hospital network as needed, covering additional facilities in the greater Seattle/Burien/Federal Way area
• Participate in standby requirements when staffing levels necessitate

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Washington
• Required Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU or progressive care experience
• Demonstrated experience titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips
• Ability and willingness to float to other facilities within the regional network
• Schedule flexibility required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
• Familiarity with respiratory support modalities including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Experience caring for cardiac cath and ETOH withdrawal patients
