    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed Stepdown/Med Surg unit with common diagnoses including respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 (Stepdown) and 1:5–6 (Floor) with support from nurse aides (2 per shift)
    • Titrate drips including Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone per physician orders and unit protocols
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry in coordination with remote monitoring support
    • Manage and care for patients requiring RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
    • Fulfill weekend rotation requirements (3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule) and rotating holiday coverage
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted RN license; any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
    • BLS certification (required)
    • ACLS certification (required)
    • Valid, unexpired driver's license — copy must be included with submission
    • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior Stepdown or PCU experience strongly preferred
    • Experience titrating drips (Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone)
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and strip reading
    • Experience working with RT equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
