Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit setting within a long-term acute care environment
- Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and mechanical ventilator support
- Administer and titrate vasoactive drips including Norepinephrine and Dopamine
- Assess, treat, and document complex wound care needs
- Maintain patient safety and quality outcomes while managing a patient ratio of 1:4–5
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Prior experience with telemetry monitoring
- Experience managing patients on mechanical ventilators
- Demonstrated experience with vasoactive drip management (Norepinephrine and Dopamine)
- Experience with complex wound care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a long-term acute care or step-down/PCU setting
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations requiring multi-system support
