Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Telemetry / IMC / Step-Down specialty setting
- Manage and monitor ED border patients within the assigned specialty as needed
- Float between facilities within a defined local radius when census or staffing needs require, remaining within specialty
- Communicate effectively with care teams to ensure continuity and safety of patient care across units
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
- Prior experience in Telemetry, IMC, PCU, or Step-Down nursing
- Ability to float between facilities within a 15-mile radius as needed
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the primary facility location (no local travelers)
- All requested time off must be submitted prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for ED border or overflow patients in a step-down or IMC environment
- Familiarity with multi-facility health system workflows and protocols
