Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability
- Perform advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions in a Progressive Care Unit setting
- Apply advanced clinical knowledge and experience to influence and guide patient care outcomes
- Conduct and interpret basic EKG monitoring as part of ongoing patient assessment
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (per College of American Pathologists moderate complexity testing requirements)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior PCU or Step-Down Unit experience
- Basic EKG interpretation experience
