Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult patients including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases requiring monitoring or interventions every 1–2 hours.

Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias
Manage titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips and provide ventilator management as required by patient acuity
Receive and stabilize direct admissions, ICU transfers, and escalations from Rapid Response Teams
Utilize specialized equipment including Hercules patient re-positioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps
Float to other qualified units or campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within documented competencies
Required Qualifications
Active South Carolina RN license or active multistate (Compact) RN license required — pending licensure not accepted
Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment; first-time travelers must have 3 years of specialty experience with critical care background

Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS

Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or high-acuity teaching hospital environment
Familiarity with Rapid Response Team protocols and ICU-to-step-down transition care
Experience with neurology patient populations including stroke care
