    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, focusing on intermediate and progressive care patients.
    • Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
    • Potential to float to additional units to care for the same patient population based on operational needs.
    • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes and continuity of care.
    • Participate in holiday coverage rotation as required by unit scheduling needs.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown/IMC specialty; travel experience in the specialty will be considered.
    • Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State RN license required at time of submission.
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
    • Active ACLS certification required.
    • Active NIHSS certification required.
    • Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts).
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PCU/Progressive Care Unit experience is preferred.
    • 18 months of experience within a single location is preferred, though combined experience across locations will be considered.
