    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
    • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and progressive care
    • Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
    • Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
    • Participate in holiday coverage rotation as required by unit scheduling needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience may be considered
    • Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
    • Active ACLS certification required
    • Active NIHSS certification required
    • Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum two attempts)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PCU/Progressive Care Unit experience
    • 18 months of experience within a single facility location
