    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg/PCU setting, flexing into other departments as needed within a Critical Access Hospital environment
    • Identify patient and family education needs and deliver appropriate education using suitable modalities
    • Implement and maintain patient safety measures including proper use of side rails, restraints, and equipment; follow and document restraint policy correctly
    • Perform accurate and timely documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, patient responses, and physician orders, including 24-hour order checks as applicable to assigned shift
    • Implement infection control and isolation procedures using standard precautions and proper documentation at all times
    • Report critical lab values to the physician per policy, deliver complete change-of-shift reports, and maintain and restock emergency carts and general supplies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN license (must be current and in good standing)
    • Experience in MedSurg, PCU, Telemetry, or IMC/Stepdown nursing
    • Ability and willingness to flex across departments as needed
    • Demonstrated knowledge of safe equipment operation in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg settings, including basic troubleshooting
    • Availability through the upcoming holiday season with minimal requested time off
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and stepdown-level patient acuity
