Contract | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit during night shifts
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
- Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility policy
- Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned
- Document all patient care activities accurately within the Epic electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Ability to adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice
- Nursys verification required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
