    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, including comprehensive physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety assessments for patients with complex conditions
    • Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
    • Perform bedside point-of-care testing and apply healthcare organization standards, policies, and procedures in the delivery of care
    • Assess and anticipate discharge needs for individual patients and families, consulting appropriate resources for complex care or high-risk discharge planning
    • Communicate relevant clinical information to promote continuity of care and participate in performance improvement activities at the unit level
    • Promote a safe, clean, and secure environment while supporting cost-effective, evidence-informed nursing practice
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC)
    • Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
    • Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing
    • Experience in a progressive care, step-down, or intermediate care unit setting
