Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a PCU/Stepdown unit, managing a partial or full team of patients each shift
• Fill in as charge nurse on the unit as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs)
• Complete required pre-start compliance modules prior to first day (RN modules may be up to 5-6 hours; modules are not paid)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown or IMC experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start (cost is the responsibility of the traveler/agency)
• Candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also accepted
• Experience functioning in a charge nurse or lead capacity
• Familiarity with holiday and high-census staffing environments
