    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC / PCU / Stepdown (Med/Tele)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed telemetry/cardiac unit serving adult and geriatric populations with conditions including cardiac, pulmonary, sepsis, and acute-on-chronic diagnoses
    • Titrate and manage drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose Dopamine
    • Read and independently interpret cardiac telemetry strips; monitor patients via portable and in-room telemetry monitors
    • Manage PCU-level overflow patients at a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio; standard ratios of 1:4–5 with occasional 1:5–6 on nights
    • Assist with or monitor respiratory equipment including BiPAP, trachs, and high-flow oxygen (Airvo)
    • Float as needed to PCU for full patient load, medical-surgical units, and ER holds/boarding as a helping hand
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • PCU experience required
    • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
    • Experience titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips
    • Willingness to float to PCU, medical-surgical, and ER hold areas as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic EMR
    • Background in telemetry or cardiac nursing
