Registered Nurse (RN) – Step Down / IMC / PCU (Travel, Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / IMC / PCU setting with an expected 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and medical-surgical care
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the facility EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Step Down, IMC, or PCU nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced step down environment
