Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (36 hrs/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a fast-paced, 12-bed, 24-hour observation and moderate care unit serving a heart and vascular service line
- Monitor and manage low-acuity critical care patients awaiting placement in ICU or step-down units, as well as post-procedure observation patients
- Manage patients with PA catheters, arterial lines, LVADs, and up to 2–4 vasoactive drips
- Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation; clinicians will be required to pass a proctored rhythm identification test (non-multiple choice, two attempts allowed) upon start
- Support a high volume of patient turnover with a wide variety of cardiovascular diagnoses and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of IMC, PCU, Step-Down, or cardiac/vascular specialty experience within the past 3 years
- Experience with PA catheters required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local travelers eligible
- Scrubs: Navy Blue
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN certification preferred
- Experience with pre-surgical cardiac or vascular patient populations
- Familiarity with LVAD management and vasoactive drip titration
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills
