Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – TELE)

Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit with a 4:1 patient ratio (occasionally 5:1)
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Demonstrate strong cardiac assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Complete a proctored rhythm identification test upon start of assignment (two attempts permitted; not multiple choice)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience within the past 3 years
- Strong cardiac skills required
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (no local travelers)
- Navy blue scrubs required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity telemetry or cardiac step-down unit
- Demonstrated proficiency in rhythm strip interpretation
