Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU setting with a primary cardiac population
- Manage patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) diagnoses
- Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3–4 in the progressive care unit
- Float to telemetry beds within the same unit to manage lower-acuity patients as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a similarly sized facility
- Documented progressive care unit experience must be reflected in work history
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac drip management in a high-acuity progressive care environment
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and lower-acuity cardiac patient management
- Experience caring for post-cardiothoracic surgery patients
