Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intermediate/progressive care unit setting
- Manage and monitor patients requiring transplant care
- Perform and oversee peritoneal dialysis procedures and related patient management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of IMC/PCU/Stepdown specialty experience within the past 3 years
- Transplant experience required
- Peritoneal dialysis experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity progressive care or stepdown environment
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in a fast-paced hospital setting
