PCU / Surgical Stepdown - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Orlando, FL | PCU / Stepdown
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts (7p–7a) | Expected 36 hours/week | 6-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit environment
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and medical-surgical care
- Care for stroke and PCU patient populations requiring close observation and intervention
- Adhere to unit-standard float requirements as needed
- Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) certification required
- Experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
- Stroke and/or PCU experience required
- Ability to fulfill every-other-weekend requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown unit
- Familiarity with multi-system PCU patient populations
- Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
