The position requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment on night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: HWL Requisition:MVHS Inc.-AN-1863. Candidates must have at least 2+ years of experience in Intermediate Care Units (IMCU) or Progressive Care Units (PCU), with documented travel experience. The role involves working in a 64-bed IMCU with a focus on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases, including conditions like COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, and CV stepdown. The unit utilizes specialty equipment such as Temp pacers, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo. Chronic vents are present, requiring RT assistance.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Active New York State License as a Registered Nurse (RN) and valid RTO documentation.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in IMCU/PCU.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• EMR Experience: Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EPIC.
• Submission Requirements: Up-to-date resume demonstrating 2+ years of relevant experience, valid license verification, RTO documentation, skills checklist matching the specialty, and drivers license with matching address.
