Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry/PCU – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00am-7:30pm) or 4x12 schedule available. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. 36-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 23-bed cardiac telemetry and intermediate care unit with 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts
• Epic charting system; Magnet-designated facility ranked among the nation's top heart hospitals
• Care for coronary artery disease, heart failure, dysrhythmias, post-cardiac procedures including angioplasty, stents, pacemaker placement, and cardiac catheterization patients
• Manage titratable vasoactive drips, arterial lines, central venous pressures, and invasive monitoring
• Expanding cardiac program includes advanced heart failure, pre-transplant, LVAD patients, and upcoming external pacemaker management
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience with cardiac telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required within the last 3 years
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must pass telemetry exam prior to start (100% identification of lethal rhythms, 80% overall passing score, strict testing criteria apply)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Proficiency in cardiac drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation, post-cardiac cath/surgery care, and advanced cardiac monitoring
