Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – IMCU/PCU – New York
Start Date: December 14, 2026
Location: Utica, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, day shift 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, floating required
Highlights:
- 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neuro beds treating diverse patient population
- Comprehensive case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
- Advanced specialty equipment experience: temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo system, and chronic vent management with respiratory therapy support
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
- Adult patient population (18 years and older)
- Local candidates welcome (within 75 miles)
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered New York RN license (verification via Nursys required)
- Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience with documented travel nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid driver's license with current address documentation
- Completed specialty-specific skills checklist and up-to-date resume required at submission
