Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse (RN) position available in the organizations facility. This role involves working on a float team in a high-acuity environment, providing critical patient care on night shifts. The assignment is for 16-26 weeks, with schedules designed to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

- Requirements:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required; NIHSS required prior to start.
- Minimum of 1 year telemetry (tele) experience required.
- Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization care.
- Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
- NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required in packet at time of submission.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information:
- IVS to OFFER.
- Work schedule includes working 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day/Eve.
- No block schedules.
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays, with the next being 10/19.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Complete all work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) in the application.
- Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation, personal vehicle, or rental vehicle recommended.
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November-April.
