Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care and facilitating communication among healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Schedule Details

This position requires evening/night shifts, working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend and some holidays being mandatory.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification are mandatory (AHA only).
Experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
