Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 12-hour shifts | Every other weekend required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | Expected 72 hours biweekly
Key Responsibilities- Provide progressive care nursing in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with patient ratios of 1:3-5
- Titrate vasopressors as required for hemodynamically complex patients
- Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed; floating occurs in 4-hour blocks during shift
- Complete a day-one pass/fail competency assessment upon start
- Adhere to scheduled start dates and weekend rotation requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Demonstrated ability to titrate vasopressors/pressors required
- Candidates who have not previously traveled must have Level 1 trauma experience
- Must have been separated from the hiring health system (in any capacity - permanent, per diem, or contract) for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Prior Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
