Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:
RN - IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• No on-call or standby requirement unless picking up an extra shift
• Floating to other units as needed based on census
• No self-scheduling; block scheduling available if it meets unit needs
• Friday/Saturday/Sunday schedule option is available
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 on days through 2300; 1:5-6 on nights after 2300
• Nurse aide support available on the unit
• 29-bed Medical/Surgical IMC unit specializing in cardiac medical and surgical patients
• Common diagnoses include post cath lab patients (stent, pacemaker, ICD, watchman, mitral clip, TAVR), post cardiac surgery (CABG, valve replacements), AFib, chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, syncope, and bradycardia with temporary pacemaker
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a busy hospital environment required
• Experience with post-procedural cath lab patients required, including management of TR band compression devices
• Experience with post cardiac surgical patients required
• RNs are required to titrate drips; common drips include Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Bumex, and Dobutamine (no vasopressors)
• 24/7 central telemetry unit monitors all non-critical care patients and reads strips
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7 for nebulizers, inhalers, CPAP, BiPAP, and Vapotherm; RNs are responsible for incentive spirometry
• Charge RN takes a modified assignment
• Charting system: Cerner
• No scrubs provided; no required scrub color
• Orientation consists of 1 shift of HR onboarding and 1 shift on the unit
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

The facility features a dedicated Medical/Surgical IMC unit with 24/7 central telemetry monitoring and respiratory therapy support, ensuring high-quality care for cardiac and post-procedural patients.
