- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Consolidated Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start; a minimum of 2 years of IMCU/Stepdown experience; experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, arterial lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management; passing an ECG/Telemetry exam including rhythm strip interpretation; prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Medical/Neuro ICU experience, drip titrations, ventilated patients, transvenous pacemaker management, and neuro/stroke patient care.
- Additional Information:
Travelers may be required to float to other departments according to their competency level. Work hours may include major holidays and weekends, with a requirement to work two of the three major holidays, summing to one holiday worked in total. Flexibility to pick up an additional shift during each 4-week schedule is expected. The facility operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment serving a 500-mile radius and is recognized as a Level II Trauma Center with stroke accreditation and numerous advanced procedures and technologies.
