Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

RN - IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule includes Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required
• Work in both D6/5 IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and B4/3 IMC Thoracic unit
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years required
• Travel experience required
• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Ventilator and transplant experience required
• Must have experience in an Academic Level I or II Trauma Center or similar size hospital
• Charting system experience with Epic required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher within two attempts
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• Key skills include: accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, chest tubes, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of arterial blood gases, management of dysrhythmias, PICC line management, tracheostomy care/management, post-transplant care, and wound care/wound vac among others

The facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services. The 29-bed unit specializes in providing comprehensive and specialized nursing care to acutely ill adult patients, including those with Cystic Fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and post-lung transplant diagnoses.
