Perform and manage clinical skills including BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, wound/skin care, blood product administration, and central line care. Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed PCU/Stepdown unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing diagnoses such as laryngectomy, PE, DVT, CHF, COPD, AMS, afib with RVR, GI bleed, pneumonia, and flap procedures.
