Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or applicable compact state license, two years of acute care experience within the last three years, experience in telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and IMC/stepdown units, proficiency with vent and transplant care, experience in an academic Level I or II trauma center or similar hospital setting, and passing a telemetry exam with a score of 80% or higher on two attempts.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from the American Heart Association are required.
  • Additional Information: Traveler must pass telemetry interpretation tests prior to employment and demonstrate strong proficiency in vent and transplant management. The assignment involves floating as needed, adherence to the local rule of 50 miles from the facility, and minimum two years of recent acute care experience in the specialty.
