Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity cardiology nursing care in a stepdown/intermediate care unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac conditions, identifying and responding to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in IMC, PCU, stepdown, or cardiology nursing
• Ability to manage high-acuity cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiology-specific stepdown or intermediate care unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and related equipment
• ACLS certification preferred
