Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurses are sought for a clinical opportunity in a community hospital located in Lake Havasu City. This position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and other critical illnesses. The role offers a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current State License, 2 years recent acute care experience, IMCU experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, knowledge of cardiac and respiratory conditions
• Float: Float rotation may be required between Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
• Additional Information: No block schedule requests are accepted; 48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed. Orientation is held weekly. The facility is Joint Commission accredited, with a 171-bed capacity, and functions as a Level Trauma 3 center. Located in an outdoor recreation hub, the area offers scenic mountain ranges and lakes, with proximity to major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, and Los Angeles.
