Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a PCU or Med/Surg/Telemetry unit based on unit need and traveler skill set
• Float within skill set onsite or to additional sites within 40 miles as needed
• Monitor and assess patients requiring step-down or intermediate level of care
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med/Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Completion of RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment required
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across both PCU and Med/Surg/Telemetry settings
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying unit assignments based on census and acuity needs
• Comfort with multi-site float assignments
