Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide progressive care unit (PCU/Stepdown/IMC) level nursing care to patients during night shift hours
Manage and monitor arterial lines, chest tubes, and post cardiac catheterization care
Administer and titrate continuous IV drip medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, cardene, and neosynephrine
Float to Medical-Surgical or Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as needed
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
ACLS certification required
Stepdown, IMC, or PCU level of care experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Hands-on experience with arterial lines and chest tube management
Experience with post cardiac catheterization patient care
Comfort with vasoactive and cardiac drip management in a progressive care setting
