Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate / Step-Down unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a standard medical-surgical floor
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in every other weekend rotation as required by the department
- Fulfill holiday coverage requirements based on departmental need
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Ability to commit to 36 hours per week on a mid shift schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit setting
- Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry assessment skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic patient load in a fast-paced environment
