Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate / Step-Down unit setting
Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a standard medical-surgical floor
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Participate in every other weekend rotation as required by the department
Fulfill holiday coverage requirements based on departmental need
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Ability to commit to 36 hours per week on a mid shift schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit setting
Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry assessment skills
Ability to manage a dynamic patient load in a fast-paced environment
