The role includes managing a pod of eight patients in an IMCU setting, with responsibilities for patients requiring titrating drips, BiPAP, DKA, and CIWA protocols. The shift is rotating, with scheduled hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every third weekend and rotating holidays.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart surgery, TAVR, Watchman, and post-cardiac procedure patients; familiarity with titrating drips, BiPAP, DKA, and CIWA protocols.
  • Additional Information: The position involves caring for patients with diverse acute cardiac conditions, including new bipap, DKA, and CIWA. The environment is a pod with eight patients, requiring effective patient management and coordination. No RQI certifications needed.
