Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit setting
Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
Current BLS certification required
Ability to work night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a progressive care environment
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
