TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified IMC RN in Dallas, Texas, 75201!
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians across night shift
Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care
Perform typical PCU-level procedures and interventions appropriate to patient acuity
Float to other PCU units and telemetry floors as needed per unit guidelines
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or Step-Down nursing experience
Willingness and ability to float to other PCU and telemetry units as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech EMR
Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step-Down setting
Strong collaborative and team-oriented approach to patient care
