Job TitleRegistered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
LocationMaryville, TN | Intermediate Care / Step-Down Unit
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) | Weekend rotation every two weeks
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit setting
- Monitor and manage patients requiring step-down level of care, including cardiac and multi-specialty populations
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation, orders, and patient management
- Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competencies
- Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent IMC/PCU/Step-Down experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90-99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with adult cardiac telemetry or progressive care populations
- Familiarity with multi-specialty adult care environments
- Strong adaptability and comfort with floating to qualified units as needed
