Travel RN - Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Expected 36-48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit setting within a 266-bed acute-care hospital
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols
• Document patient assessments, care provided, and changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with relevant PCU/IMCU/stepdown experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or stepdown unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in an intermediate care setting
• Experience in a large, accredited acute-care hospital environment
