Job TitleTravel RN - Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Expected 36-48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit setting within a 266-bed acute-care hospital
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols
- Document patient assessments, care provided, and changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with relevant PCU/IMCU/stepdown experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or stepdown unit
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in an intermediate care setting
- Experience in a large, accredited acute-care hospital environment
