Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
Monitor and assess patients transitioning from intensive care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
BLS certification required
Experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or similar intermediate care setting
Ability to work night shift as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or high-acuity hospital setting
ACLS certification preferred
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
